Minister: Rev. Julie Lees
Although called to St. Stephen’s in
August 2011, Julie’s relationship with
this church began in the summer of 2008.
From the first service Julie’s
experience of St. Stephen’s was one of
hospitality, openness, and a willingness
to wrestle with and explore scripture.
Julie approaches Spirit, our collective
faith journey and worship with optimism,
creativity and respect. God is a
mystery, and as Christians who
acknowledge the wonder and awe of the
resurrection, we do our best to develop
practices and engage with our texts in
ways that draw us closer to God, and
offer us a life-giving experience of the
Divine at work in us and the world.

Sunday School: Taylor Kohn
Taylor has been
teaching Sunday school at St. Stephens
since 2005. She loves coming to church
each and every week to teach the
children and hear their stories from the
past week. At St. Stephens, we are now
using the Godly Play curriculum. Godly
play’s visual learning style has already
influenced the children in a great way;
they are able to recall stories told to
them weeks before.
Custodial Staff: Arnie and Lorlita
Harder
Arnie and Lorlita keep our building
looking nice and ready for use.
